Wigmore Medical’s training arm has undergone a restructure to incorporate a new curriculum developed with Dalvi Humzah Aesthetic Training (DHAT), launching in January 2021.
Designed for medical practitioners entering the aesthetics industry for first time, the concept of the curriculum will ensure practitioners are well trained in all areas of the discipline in order to treat patients properly and with a holistic approach.Upon completion, practitioners will have the skills and knowledge to be able to talk to and advise patients accordingly about all treatments under the aesthetic medicine umbrella.
Course modules
Course modules will be completed via blended learning, with a mix of both knowledge-based distanced and on-site learning. Online distanced learning will be both synchronous and asynchronous, through live group lectures and the ability for students to work through the course materials at their own pace and in their own time. The first practical learning days will take place at Wigmore Medical in Central London, with plans to roll out nationwide according to demand.
Students will be able to cherry-pick modules but are encouraged to develop their learning in other areas in order to ensure a well-rounded knowledge base overall. They can then go on to develop their skillset focused on specific areas by undertaking more specialised modules (to be added at a later date).
