Mesotherapy is a minimally invasive technique that consists of local skin therapy with substances that perform specific functions. These substances are given in small quantities either through multiple dermal punctures like with derma-roller, micro-needling, or via another technique.
The objective is to induce bio-revitalisation by stimulation of tissues, new cell growth and increased collagen synthesis. This is achieved by local application of agents like vitamins, amino acids, herbal extracts etc. which have proven bio-stimulation effects.
Mesotherapy is a relatively new area for aesthetic practitioners in the UK, but has been used in other countries for many years. Now, Cambridge Biotech of UK have introduced their mesotherapy range Cambridge Skin Code to the market for the first time.
The mesotherapy range from Cambridge Biotech enters the market with three products: Cambridge Skin Code MesoWhite, Cambridge Skin Code MesoHair, Cambridge Skin Code MesoLift. Each product is presented in a box with 10 vials, and each vial contains 5 ml sterile mesotherapy solution.
Cambridge Skin Code MesoWhite
Cambridge Skin Code MesoWhite is designed for safe and intensive skin whitening treatments. It is recommended for people with darker skin tones, for the reduction of freckles, melasma, chloasma and skin discolouration caused by acne and age spots.
A progressive lightening effect is achieved after repeated treatments, and it is ideal for all skin types. It acts by neutralising free radicals and reducing melanin, thus restoring radiant complexion. It can be applied to face, neck, décolletage, hands, other areas as needed and may be used in combination with electroporation, derma-roller, dermapen and micro-needling.
Treatment protocol should be individually tailored depending upon patient needs. The patient should have up to eight sessions about seven to 14 days apart.
Cambridge Skin Code MesoHair
Cambridge Skin Code MesoHair is a serum created for reinforcement of hair bulbs to prevent hair loss. This intensive therapy is recommended for people with premature hair loss and can be used in areas of general hair loss or areas with alopecia.
It is highly effective in women over 50 years of age, hereditary alopecia, reduction of levels of DHT (dihydro-testosterone), for alopecia in menopausal women, protection/repair of structural components of hair, stimulation of cell metabolism, prevention of hair loss, improvement of scalp micro-circulation, slowing of hair follicle ageing and acceleration of hair re-growth.
It can be applied to all areas of excessive hair loss, areas of alopecia and areas where hair is thin or sparse. This product can also be used in combination with electroporation, derma-roller, derma-pen, micro-needling etc. For a good outcome six to eight treatments should be performed at an interval of about 14 days.
Cambridge Skin Code MesoLift
Cambridge Skin Code MesoLift is a lifting serum designed to improve elasticity and firmness of skin and reduce appearance of wrinkles. It contains hexapeptide which acts like botulinum toxin, relaxes wrinkles and smooths the skin. It decreases density, depth and number of mimic wrinkles, stimulates collagen synthesis and cell proliferation, rejuvenates skin cells by reducing intracellular oxidative stress, improves structure and quality of connective tissue and induces long-term firming effect. Cambridge Skin Code MesoLift Can be used in combination with electroporation, derma-roller, derma-pen, micro-needling etc. For optimum effect, four to six treatments should be performed at an interval of approximately 10 days.
It is ideal for people over 45 with visible wrinkles, can be used in women and men, for all types of skin, for treatment of sagging skin due to lack of elasticity/firmness, hyperpigmentation, pale skin colour and 'tired' skin appearance, lifting the skin of breast and décolletage, on all areas with visible effects of ageing, loss of skin elasticity and firmness, skin fatigue, fine, medium and deep wrinkles.
It can be applied to face, crow’s feet, vertical lip lines and lip contour, neck, décolletage, hands and other areas as needed. Avoid eyelids or under eye areas.
