Introducing Definisse

RELIFE Aesthetics is part of the Menarini pharmaceutical group, a privately owned Italian pharmaceutical company established over 130 years ago. In the UK, Menarini provides expertise in the therapy areas of cardiology, anti-infective and diabetology.
The RELIFE Definisse range has a strong pharmaceutical and clinical background, with the focus on a combined medical and aesthetic approach. RELIFE products are only available to medical professionals, as are their excellent training offerings, and Wigmore Medical offer the full range of fillers, threads and peels.

Dermal fillers
This range of hyaluronic acid (HA) based dermal fillers with BDDE cross-linking, available with lidocaine, is produced with Menarini’s exclusive and proprietary XTR Technology. This has resulted in a filler range with unique rheological characteristics to support different indications of clinical use for facial volume restoration, hydration and rejuvenation. The RELIFE Definisse XTR technology, a three-step process, has resulted in a longlasting filler with an excellent safety profile. Combined with lidocaine for pain free application, Definisse is easily injected from a glass syringe with a quality Terumo needle. The glass syringe offers a better hepatic grip, better stability, and preservation of product with a reduction in plastic waste.


Product choice
The portfolio comprises Core, Restore and Touch products covering all facial indications to achieve 3D dynamic volume restoration, whilst balancing the facial contouring. The softer product, Definisse Touch with lidocaine, is so effective that it requires minimal amounts of product to get full correction. When using this product, it is advisable to under- correct to avoid excessive deposits.
The stronger gels, Restore and Core (also with lidocaine), can produce excellent clinical results even in the long term, supported by their high G-prime that allows excellent projection with small amounts of product. The added additional offering of hydrobooster, combining a high level of HA and glycerol, is the perfect addition for your clients’ overall end result by increasing skin hydration and elasticity.

Threads
The range of RELIFE Definisse also includes bioabsorbable barbed threads for redefinition and rejuvenation of facial contours. They are made using unique co-polymers of poly-L-lactic acid-co-ε-caprolactone (PLLA-co-PCL), with a rheological sweet spot reflecting the balance of strength and elasticity for three-dimensional tissue repositioning beyond lifting.

Peels
The RELIFE Definisse Peel Programme offers multi-level skin resurfacing modalities in a 3-step chemical peel programme for aesthetic and dermatological therapeutic indications. It is offered in a fixed dose combination of effective ingredients for greater clinical results with a good safety profile.

A NEW FILLER PROCEDURE—THE ‘ R - T E C H N I Q U E ’

Using the RELIFE Definisse filler range, the R-Technique has been specially designed by Dr Vincent Wong, to give patients a refreshed and lifted look by targeting the lateral part of the face. This technique is a multi-layered approach using different thickness of fillers in the temporal region, zygoma and the lateral temporal cheek fat to help support ligaments in the face. This technique can be adapted to cater for patients of different backgrounds and genders.

What is the ‘R’?
The ‘R’ is a continuation between the temple crests, all the way down to the orbital rim and in a straight line down to the angle of the mandible aligned, joining the line at the zygomatic cutaneous ligament and masseteric ligament.
