High-Performance Retinol, Elevated by New Technology
The AGELESS+ line features pure, next-generation retinol that is BHA and BHT-free —two ingredients that are deemed carcinogenic. BHA (butylated hydroxyanisole) and BHT (butylated hydroxytoluene) are chemicals that are sometimes used as a preservative in food and cosmetics.

The range also includes three liquid formulas containing free retinol, and three crème formulas, containing encapsulated retinol, for powerful, consistent results. With their proprietary, patent-pending XOSM technology, IMAGE Skincare has developed performance-boosting formulas that minimise irritation and redness, allowing the skin to benefit from retinol’s transformative properties without extra discomfort.

XOSM technology helps inhibit retinisation—the initial adjustment period of retinol—by shielding vulnerable new skin cells with a "protective envelope" to reduce irritation and support healthy skin rejuvenation.

What is XOSM?
XOSM is technology based on exosomes which are tiny, extracellular vesicles released by cells to communicate and promote healing. Packed with lipids, proteins, and nucleic acids, they are increasingly used in aesthetics and regenerative medicine for their ability to stimulate collagen production, reduce inflammation, and enhance tissue repair.
When applied topically or injected, exosomes can help the skin not only look better but behave like younger skin at a deep cellular level. This promising approach is being explored for everything from skin regeneration to hair growth restoration.


Pure Liquid Retinol vs. Crème Formulas

The AGELESS+ line offers two types of retinol formulations to cater to different skin needs and preferences:

Pure Liquid Retinols
These "liquid gold" serums offer gold-standard anti-ageing benefits with free retinol for quicker absorption. Enhanced with a 7-oil blend including seabuckthorn oil, they deliver retinol deep into the skin while nourishing it with essential vitamins and antioxidants. Available in 0.1%, 0.3%, and 0.75% strengths.

Retinol Crèmes
These multi-benefit formulas provide anti-ageing and hydrating properties using a blend of retinoid and bakuchiol. This combination helps improve signs of ageing while minimising irritation, making it a gentler alternative. Available in 0.3%, 0.5%, and 1.2% strengths.

Three Levels of Retinol Strength
The AGELESS+ line is conveniently divided into three levels to help guide users based on their retinol experience and skin tolerance. As IMAGE Skincare say themselves, “If you don’t know, start low.”

Level 1: Beginner
“Low-Dose”
Pure Liquid Retinol 0.1%: This low dose 0.1% free retinol is ideal for retinol beginners, as well as those with sensitive, or dry skin.
Repair Crème 0.3% Retinol Complex: A low dose brightening retinol moisturiser suitable for retinol beginners to address uneven skin tone and texture.

Level 2: Moderate
“Standard”
Pure Liquid Retinol 0.3%: This standard dose 0.3% free retinol is suitable for anyone with prior moderate exposure to retinol, and is ideal for those with oily and combination skin types.
Overnight Masque 0.5% Retinol Complex: A night-time retinol moisturiser with the hydration intensity of a masque for nightly firming and smoothing benefits.

Level 3: Advanced
“Extra Strength”
Pure Liquid Retinol 0.75%: This extra strength 0.75% free retinol is suitable for advanced retinol users only, and is particularly beneficial for those with oily or acneic skin types.
Treatment Crème 1.2% Retinol: A high-powered retinol treatment for advanced signs of skin ageing. Suitable only for skin that is acclimated to retinol use and displays visible signs of ageing and deeper wrinkles.

Proven Results
In a clinical study of AGELESS+ Pure Liquid Retinol 0.1%, visible improvements in the appearance of ageing were shown after 28 days. Results highlight the formula's efficacy in decreasing wrinkle volume, diminishing the appearance of dark spots and increasing hydration, while being gentle on skin. 93% agreed that their skin felt softer, 90% reported skin is smoother, and 90% agreed that the product was gentle on skin and didn’t cause redness or discomfort.*
