approaches, with a firm emphasis on facial analysis and topographic anatomy.
Techniques to
reduce complications and use of appropriate products will be discussed and

Product Selection and Hands-on Practice
Our aim is to give you the
skills required to optimally assess your own patients. There can be variations
on individual anatomy and it’s particularly important, for example, to
understand the musculature in the upper face in order to deliver an optimum
toxin treatment. This course will help you assess your patients face and
recognise key injection points as well as understanding different tissue/muscle
depths and injection techniques.
Nowadays there are many dermal filler products on
the market, which can make product selection overwhelming, however product
selection in relation to patient tissue quality and bone structure are key to
delivering a quality treatment in line with patient expectations. This course
will help you navigate and simplify these choices and explain why understanding
different rheological properties of dermal filler products is of paramount
importance in order to best enhance a patient’s appearance in accordance with
their skin condition.
We are proud to partner with Croma Pharma UK for this course who have been pioneers in the manufacture of premium grade hyaluronic acid injectables since 1976. Their compact range of versatile dermal facial fillers have an excellent safety profile, with over 50 million syringes used worldwide to date. The company have recently launched a new botulinum toxin as well as a range of polynucleotide skinboosters and more information about Croma and their extensive aesthetics portfolio can be found here: https://at.croma.at/home-en/company
To maximise hands-on time during these busy
training sessions, we will send you the course slides prior to the training and
request a prompt start on the day, so please be on time. You are encouraged to bring
your own models, but please inform us in advance if you are unable to do so, as
we will provide one for you. Class size is a maximum of four, to ensure all
delegates get enough practice and one-on-one supervision from the trainer.
Important: If you are interested in learning techniques
for treating the lower face, including lips and peri oral lines, please
register for our Advanced
Toxins and Fillers Lower Face training day.

Training Policy for delegates

Please make sure you have sufficient experience to attend this course
We will email you a brief questionnaire before you are admitted:
If you are an established practitioner with plenty of hands-on experience and experience of using cannulas, then we would suggest you attend the Upper Face training day that includes treatment of Tear Troughs.
On the other hand, if you are not quite at that level we would advise you attend a session that does NOT include Tear Troughs. Treatment of this area requires a high level of skill and experience of injectables, and for that reason we will not risk the safety of the live models.
