About the Course

Covid-19 PrivaOur Introduction to Radiesse Training Course is designed for experienced aesthetic practitioners who wish to expand their treatment portfolio with one of the most established and clinically researched biostimulatory injectable products available.

Radiesse is a unique calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) injectable that provides both immediate structural support and long-term collagen stimulation. Supported by over 20 years of clinical use, FDA clearance and more than 200 published clinical papers, Radiesse has become a trusted treatment option for practitioners seeking predictable, evidence-based results in facial rejuvenation and contouring.

Delivered by leading aesthetic practitioner Sarah Holness NIP, this comprehensive one-day training programme combines in-depth theory with hands-on practical training. Delegates will explore the science behind Radiesse, understand how it differs from traditional hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers, learn appropriate patient selection and treatment planning techniques, and gain practical experience treating patients under expert supervision.

With a maximum of just six delegates per session, this course provides a supportive learning environment that enables practitioners to develop the knowledge, confidence and practical skills required to safely introduce Radiesse treatments into clinical practice.

Learning Objectives
By attending this training course, delegates will:

  • Understand the history, composition and rheological properties of Radiesse
  • Explore the science behind calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) and its biostimulatory mechanism of action
  • Understand the key differences between Radiesse and hyaluronic acid dermal fillers
  • Review the clinical evidence supporting Radiesse, including its extensive safety and efficacy profile
  • Learn appropriate patient assessment, consultation and treatment planning techniques
  • Identify suitable indications, contraindications and patient selection criteria
  • Understand where Radiesse can and should not be used within facial aesthetic practice
  • Learn strategies for complication avoidance, recognition and management
  • Develop an understanding of treatment protocols and injection techniques
  • Review before-and-after case studies and clinical outcomes
  • Gain practical experience treating patients using Radiesse under expert supervision
  • Build confidence in incorporating Radiesse into an existing aesthetic treatment portfolio
What Facial Areas Are Covered in This Training?
During the practical session, delegates will gain experience assessing and treating patients in the following areas:
  • Jawline contouring and definition
  • Marionette lines and lower-face rejuvenation
In addition to the practical treatment areas, delegates will explore wider clinical applications of Radiesse, including treatment planning considerations, patient suitability and facial assessment techniques.

Each delegate will perform treatments on one model under close trainer supervision. Delegates are encouraged to bring their own suitable treatment model; however, a model can be sourced by Wigmore Training if required.

Who Can Attend This Training?
This course is suitable for:
  • Doctors registered with the GMC
  • Dentists registered with the GDC
  • Nurses registered with the NMC
  • Prescribing Pharmacists registered with the GPhC
Delegates must already be experienced aesthetic injectors who are competent in administering hyaluronic acid dermal fillers and confident using cannulas within clinical practice. As this course focuses on the safe integration of Radiesse into aesthetic practice, it is designed for practitioners who already possess a strong foundation in injectable treatments and facial anatomy.

Why Should You Attend This Training?
As patient demand continues to grow for regenerative and collagen-stimulating aesthetic treatments, practitioners are increasingly seeking advanced solutions that go beyond traditional dermal fillers.

Radiesse occupies a unique position within aesthetic medicine, offering both immediate volumisation and long-term collagen stimulation. Its extensive clinical evidence base, proven safety profile and versatility make it an increasingly valuable treatment option for practitioners looking to diversify their injectable offering and achieve natural-looking, long-lasting results for their patients.

Led by Sarah Holness NIP, this training course combines evidence-based theory with practical, hands-on experience, enabling delegates to develop both technical competence and clinical confidence. Small delegate numbers ensure personalised guidance throughout the day, while supervised model treatments allow practitioners to immediately apply their learning in a safe and supportive environment.

In addition to expert-led training and ongoing support from the Wigmore Training team, delegates will benefit from educational resources and product support provided by Merz Aesthetics, helping to support the successful introduction of Radiesse treatments into clinical practice.

Upon successful completion of the course, delegates will receive a CPD-certified certificate and gain access to ongoing post-training support. Exclusive product offers will also be available following training, helping practitioners confidently introduce Radiesse treatments into their clinics.

Whether you are looking to expand your treatment portfolio, meet growing patient demand for biostimulatory procedures or strengthen your understanding of regenerative aesthetics, this course provides the practical skills, clinical knowledge and confidence needed to successfully integrate Radiesse into your practice.
